The Little Drummer Boy is one of those Christmas songs that has a special meaning behind the catchy tune. Though we all may think from time to time that we have nothing special to give to our Savior, the truth is everyone something they can share with others that helps honor Him.
And this Christmas season, the Latter-day Saint singing group GENTRI decided to share this message with a touching take on the classic Christmas song.

"Each year in our quest to find Christmas we look inside ourselves and ask 'what gift can I bring to the feet of Him who needs no gift?'" GENTRI shares on the group's Facebook page. "The truth of Christmas lies in the fact that the most precious gifts (our love, our time, our talents) cost nothing.
"Please join us this Christmas by choosing to #LightTheWorld through acts service by giving of whatever gifts you have to give, no matter how small they may seem."
On the heels of the success of their debut EP, GENTRI is releasing a special three-song Christmas EP. Their signature style shines on these gorgeous arrangements of the Christmas classics "Silent Night," "Ave Maria," and a unique medley of "What Child Is This?" and "I Wonder as I Wander." In late 2014 they introduced their group to an audience of over 8,000 at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City and received a standing ovation after their debut performance of "Silent Night." Their soaring vocals and tight harmonies bring the true spirit of Christmas with this breathtaking Christmas album.
