Thanks to KSL for making us aware of this story.

In 2017, Hannah Mongie made the decision to place her son, Taggart, up for adoption. But before she gave Taggart to his new parents, Mongie created a video with her newborn son, explaining how much she loved him and her reasons for placing him for adoption.

Mongie first met Taggart's father, Kaden, in 2013 when the two wrote letters to each other while he served a mission.

Before having their first son, Taggart, Mongie explains the joy the couple felt hearing Taggart's heartbeat for the first time.

But just two days later, Kaden's heart stopped, and Mongie was left to face childbirth and the possibility of raising their son alone.

“From the day your daddy died, I had a hard time even considering placing you with a different family when you were my last piece of Kaden,” Mongie says in the video. “This is for you Tagg. I made this video so that you know how much I love you. . . . I made this decision out of love."

Though created last year, the video was shared on the Facebook page Love What Matters Most recently and has garnered millions of views.
