Did you know that our prophet has perfect pitch? Latter-day Saints in Fiji were able to witness this fun fact in action at a devotional President Nelson gave during his Pacific Ministry Tour. At one point during the devotional, President Nelson asked all the children to bear testimony with him through song as together they sang "I Am a Child of God." About his experience in Suva, Fiji, President Nelson posted on Instagram:

"I felt I was wrapped in the love of the Saints in Fiji. We talked about the love our Savior, Jesus Christ has for each of us. His Atonement makes eternal life a possibility for all who choose to qualify. I shared my witness with them that Jesus is the Christ, and that His Church has been restored in latter days. If we will feast upon the words of Jesus Christ and apply His teachings in our lives, we will feel his love surround us."

During his nine-day ministry throughout the Pacific, President Nelson shared many uplifting messages on social media, reminding Latter-day Saints around the world that "Though we will have trials, please do not be discouraged. Our Heavenly Father wants for us to be happy. He will provide us with the needed revelation, strength, and ability to judge right from wrong and to experience joy in our lives."

The Church was established in this area even before the early pioneers arrived in Utah. We were thrilled to join with 10,000 Tahitian Latter-day Saints to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ being shared with the people here. I feel our ancestors would be pleased with the immense growth this area has seen in the last 175 years. As we complete our visits in the Pacific, I am overwhelmed with feelings of gratitude and joy. We have received an outpouring of love from the nearly 100,000 Saints we visited with in the Pacific and in return we have tried to remind them of the love their Father in Heaven has for them. We will always remember the special privilege we had to be with the Saints in the Pacific. A post shared by Russell M. Nelson (@russellmnelson) on May 26, 2019 at 11:25am PDT

While traveling with President Nelson, Elder Gong shared this powerful witness of our prophet:

"I believe that he wants people around the globe to know that the heavens are open, that the Lord loves them, and that while we are living in a time of great challenge, it is also a time of great blessings. I can tell that President Nelson feels the love of the Lord, and he feels the love of the people. That love—from both sources—energizes him. It is a blessing to witness the Lord’s prophet minister to people around the globe."
View this post on Instagram As my wife and I have traveled with President Nelson the last few days through Hawaii, Samoa, Australia, and New Zealand, I have thought about how President Nelson is doing what prophets have done anciently. Throughout time, prophets of God have been called to bring the message of the Lord to His children across the world. All prophets testify of God. They teach how to return to our Father in Heaven. This is exactly what President Nelson has been doing on our trip. I believe that he wants people around the globe to know that the heavens are open, that the Lord loves them, and that while we are living in a time of great challenge, it is also a time of great blessings. I can tell that President Nelson feels the love of the Lord, and he feels the love of the people. That love—from both sources—energizes him. It is a blessing to witness the Lord’s prophet minister to people around the globe. A post shared by Gerrit W. Gong (@gerritwgong) on May 20, 2019 at 1:56pm PDT
