What's in your Cup?

I like cups and glasses. I even have my favorites at home.

With my love of glassware confessed, I want to share about some dinner glasses I came across a few nights ago. I was out to dinner with my wife and noticed the glasses we had been given were made of unique blown glass. Upon closer inspection (no, I don’t usually closely inspect our dinner glasses), I noticed how imperfect they were. Their bases were not completely flush with the table. The had lots of bubbles from the glass-making process still encased in their thick shells. Their rims were not perfectly circular. Although similar in color and style, they did even not quite match.

In addition to the interesting differences and imperfections, our dinner cups had 2 really important things in common. They were:

1) clean

2) they were really good at being filled with and then delivering their contents.
