Gloria International Film Festival
October 16-18, 2003 Films, workshops and panel discussions. Come see independent films that stir the soul and heal the heart. Among the movies at this year's Film Festival is "Brothers... on Holy Ground." The movie from retired FDNY Firefighter and independent filmmaker Mike Lennon who after two weeks of digging for survivors at the site of the World Trade Center, began filming and interviewing at firehouses that had lost men. Crossroads Plaza Purchase Finalized
SALT LAKE CITY — Property Reserve, Inc. (PRI), the real estate investment arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has closed on its purchase of the Crossroads Plaza shopping mall in downtown Salt Lake City.

"Closing on this acquisition represents a critical step forward in our plans to redevelop both the ZCMI and Crossroads malls," said Presiding Bishop H. David Burton. Book of Mormon on the Big Screen

On Monday August 11th the first audience saw the Book of Mormon put on the big screen. The Book of Mormon Movie is due out in Utah this September.

Volume One, of “The Book of Mormon Movie,” entitled “The Journey,” brings to life the sacred record of the ancient people who migrated from Jerusalem to the America's some 600 years before the birth of Christ. Volume one is just one part of an eight to nine feature length series, planning to be released in installments over the next seven years
