Post-Katrina: Most Church Members Accounted For
While recovery efforts carry on in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, the Church continues to help victimsmembers and other refugeesto get back on their feet. All members of the Mobile Alabama, Jackson Mississippi, Hattiesburg Mississippi, and Denham Springs Louisiana Stakes are accounted for.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced plans to digitize and index more than 2 million rolls of microfilmed birth, death and census records and make in available on the Internet.

LDS Church Helps Fight Measles in Mozambique
Bonnie Parkin prays that recent heroic efforts will be rewarded. As general president of the LDS Church's Relief Society, she traveled to Mozambique, there to observe administration of life-saving measles and polio vaccines, along with vitamin A, to thousands of children.
