Sacred-music writer spends 100th working on new songs
When music publisher G. Schirmer came out with its list of "100 Greatest Sacred Songs" a few years back, five were written both words and music by A.W. "Mickey" Hart.
The program began in 1994, with students living in restored historic homes. It expanded in 1999 after the church bought St. Mary's All Girls' School from the Catholic Church directly across the street from the temple site and converted it into the
Joseph
Smith
Academy
. The program's capacity was 120 students, with 86 on-site this semester. About 110 attended Fall Semester.

We must not lose hope. Hope is an anchor to the souls of men. Satan would have us cast away that anchor. In this way he can bring discouragement and surrender. But we must not lose hope. The Lord is pleased with every effort, even the tiny, daily ones in which we strive to be more like Him. Though we may see that we have far to go on the road to perfection, we must not give up hope.
