Church Seeking Families for the Nauvoo Pageant This Summer

As the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints gears up for the coming Nauvoo Pageant this summer they are again looking for families to participate in a once in a lifetime experience. “Families love coming to Nauvoo any time of year, and those who come to help with the Pageant have even more to enjoy” says Matthew Taylor, Nauvoo Pageant coordinator.

Pres. Monson Receives Award for Lifetime of Service to Others

Nearly 50 years ago, President Thomas S. Monson appointed himself the personal guardian for 87 widows in his LDS ward. All of those women have passed away, and President Monson, first counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has spoken at every single funeral of the women he visited for so many years.

According to BYU-Idaho president Kim B. Clark, internships are an integral part of the educational experience at the university.
