The Forgotten Carols Tour dates and Ticket Sales
The Forgotten Carols tickets go on sale October 11, 2004, and performances begin November 20 with the Denver performance (tour schedule attached). The tour will travel through ten cities in five states before concluding on December 20, 2004, in Tempe, Arizona.
A Christmas tradition for thousands of fans, The Forgotten Carols tells the story of a young nurse named Constance who sees the holidays as a meaningless distraction, yet comes to find the spirit of Christmas in a most extraordinary way. Her story unfolds as she learns from a patient named John of Christmas stories forgotten over the centuries. It is these stories, and the forgotten carols through which they are illustrated, that stir Constance finally to find Christmas in her heart.
Tickets for The Forgotten Carols range in price from $12 to $18 (10% discount on groups of 20 or more), depending on seating preference and number of tickets purchased, and are available online at tickets.deseretbook.com. Tickets for the Ogden and Orem performances are available at the venue’s box office and Smith’s Tix, and the Tempe, Arizona, performance tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
The Forgotten Carols classic red gift book, which has sold more than 100,000 copies, is back in print this year as a revised edition (Deseret Book, hardcover, $25.95). The Forgotten Carols is also available on CD. Since the release of the soundtrack, nearly one-half million tapes and CD’s of the music have been sold.
