Chief financial officer of Covanta Holding resigns

Renewable energy company Covanta Holding Corp. said Thursday that its chief financial officer will leave the company at the end of the month.

FAIRFIELD, N.J. — Renewable energy company Covanta Holding Corp. said Thursday that its chief financial officer will leave the company at the end of the month.

Mark A. Pytosh will leave for a similar position at CCS Corp., a Canadian oil services company, Covanta said. Tom Bucks, Covanta’s chief accounting officer, has been tapped to serve as interim CFO.

Covanta shares fell 27 cents to $16.84 in Thursday trading.
