SCREEN COUNT GROWING: The number of screens able to show 3-D movies in the U.S. and Canada more than doubled to 3,548. Internationally, the count grew fivefold to 5,441.
PRICES STILL CLIMBING: Partly because of higher 3-D ticket prices, the average ticket price in the U.S. and Canada rose 4 percent to $7.50, even though average consumer prices fell.
