MR says: Maybe it's because of the increased numbers of temples being built, or maybe it's because of better coverage, but it seems like this is happening more and more lately.

Several neighbors living in the Westchase neighborhood at the southeastern edge of Fort Collins are asking Larimer County commissioners to stop plans for a temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The church wants to build a temple at the southeast corner of Trilby and Timberline roads just outside of Fort Collins city limits.

Neighbors say the temple will hurt property values and increase traffic on already busy roads.

Before the LDS church can submit development plans, however, the church has some nearly 20-year-old complications to work out first.

Sounds to me like your grandpa did not understand the the concept of tithing. Tithing is to give back 10% of ones increase with which one has been blessed with from God be it money or chickens to build up and further the kingdom of God. Much good has been done with it. It is not used to line the pockets of a select few but to bless the lives many others. The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints balances and checks its finances annually in an orderly fashion living within its means to bless the lives of many. They have an official website (LDS. org ) one can go to so there is no need to go to another site which gives out faulty second hand information. Why are people obsessed with what and whether one pays for their clothes they were underneath? I stayed over night once at my g-grandmothers who was catholic she called underwear "unmentionables" because your not suppose mention them.

Temples are beautiful buildings inside and out. People who go there are encouraged to be honest.
