Bless David for going on a mission in spite of his fame. Hopefully, he's not too well known in Chile, but I doubt it. Once he gets there, I hope he'll be able to "forget himself and go to work."

I love that he planned these little videos for his fans while he's gone. Very thoughtful.

Love the comment that "he can't wait to bring the back the person he has become". I really believe he will look back that these 2 years will be the best 2 years in his life. Awesome example and so rare these days!

David Archuleta is an amazing person!! He is beautiful inside and out and I have nothing but respect for him for making the decision to go on a mission. He could have done with other famous Mormon's did and not gone because of but that wasn't what he wanted to do. He is the kind of role model young people should look up to today.
