Study: Pres. Hinckley's sermons offer clues to speech and aging

MR says: Pretty cool - a U of U professor looked at 50 years of Gordon B. Hinckley's recorded sermons to analyze audio clues to aging. It's the first time such a longitudinal study has been done.
Mormons across the globe sing "come, listen to a prophet’s voice." A University of Utah researcher did just that to learn about the relationship between aging and speech patterns.Eric Hunter and his colleagues at the Salt Lake City-based National Center for Voice and Speech studied 50 years of sermons by the late LDS Church President Gordon B. Hinckley, who died in January 2008.
