MR says: Whether you like Romney or not, good for her for defending his LDS faith. She encouraged people to pray about who they vote for.

Will Mitt Romney's Mormonism be a liability in the upcoming election? Jane Pitt, mother of actor Brad Pitt, does not believe it should.

Pitt recently made national headlines with a letter to the editor of the Springfield, Mo. News-Leader in which she referred to President Barack Obama as a "liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage" and encouraged fellow Christians not to vote against Romney just because he is a Mormon.

While I appreciate Mrs. Pitt's willingness to defend the church, I wish she hadn't done so through using such right-wing sensationalist channels that have distorted the issues and prevented honest, open debate ever since those issues came up, and it will not help our image to be associated with such extremist caricatures.

I read as much of Mr. Richard Stoecker's article as I could emotionally deal with...I have NO problem with differing opinions, I APPLAUD the right and encouragement that this great country is built on! I DO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH "SUPPOSED" EDUCATED PEOPLE publicly voicing their uneducated, biased, narrow minded, bigoted opinions!! GET YOUR "FACTS" STRAIGHT Mr. Richard Stoecker BEFORE you STUPIDLY show your GROSS ignorance to the world!!

I have had great respect for Brad and Angelina as they have tried to help children. I think that Brads Mom realized how important it is to protect marriage. Also, the protection of unborn babies. It is apparent that he got his kindness from a good mom. Gays can have their rights without attacking the Marriage covenant. Should we have adulters rights, or pedafiles rights in order to be fair?
