This service offers resources for developmental and healthcare skills for pregnant women, infants and toddlers.

Head of the Class is pleased to announce the release of its Pregnancy through Toddler web site (PregnancyThroughToddler.com) which provides over 400 learning-and-development and healthcare skills for want-to-be, soon-to-be, as well as already-are parents of newborns through toddlers. According to Dr. Kris Jamsa, President of Head of the Class, “We have put together a universal collection of skills which moms and dads must know to improve their baby’s learning development and healthcare.” Within the Pregnancy through Toddler site, parents will find hundreds of skills that describe education and healthcare for:

Pregnant mothers and woman planning to become pregnant
Newborn babies
Infants from age 3 to 12 months
Toddlers from age 1 to 3

The Pregnancy through Toddler skills are available to everyone, for free!

After a parent applies the skills presented in Pregnancy through Toddler, parents can move on to over 2,600 learning-and-development skills and over 12,000 learning activities for preschoolers through fifth grade using the new simplified user interface.

According to Jamsa, “Parents asked us to provide access to our teaching instructions and learning activities with only a few clicks of a mouse. We listened, and are very excited to present the new user interface.”

Parents who want to use Head of the Class assessments to measure their child’s progress, or who want to create a custom curriculum for their child, should register for a free account at the Head of the Class Web site. After a parent registers and creates an account for their child, the child can log into his or her own user interface which delivers curriculum-based daily learning activities.

Head of the Class provides curriculum-based instruction through fifth grade on the Web for free. Kris Jamsa, Ph.D., MBA is the author of over 110 books on computing and education. Jamsa holds six college degrees which include a Ph.D. in Computer Science, a Ph.D. in Education, and Masters in Education with a focus on multiple intelligences. Jamsa is the author of the Head of the Class book series which present over 12,000 learning activities, available to parents and learners at the Head of the Class Website, for free! Dr. Jamsa believes all children deserve the opportunity for a quality education, for free, and through the use of technology, we can deliver that opportunity.

There is no incident in life,at any age that can't be turned into a 'teaching opportunity'. I remember in 4th grade (and that was many, many years ago in the 'ancient' time of the 50's)when one of my fellow students passed gas.Of course this brought out all the snickers, giggles and snide comments a bunch of fourth graders could muster. Not so with our teacher,Mrs. Katek. For the next 20 minutes or so we got a lesson in biology, the function of, and physical results and actions of our digestive system, tied to rhetoric about the way we should treat our fellow man and respond to embarrassing situations.A lesson learned, never forgotten.
