"They were the first group that I saw step up to the plate."

From different states all over the country, those who make up the Mormon Helping Hands group in Texas have made a huge impact on those they serve.

From ripping out sheet rock to tearing up floors, the cleanup work after Hurricane Harvey isn't glamorous, but it's made a lasting impression on those who have received it.

"It doesn't matter if you're a member or a non-member, we are all sons and daughters of God," a man says in the Mormon Helping Hands video. "And when we knock on the door and they see the yellow shirts, they may not know who we are, but we just share with them that we are here to serve, whatever that means."
