'Very religious' voters prefer Romney, while 'nonreligious' support Obama

Gallup released new polling Wednesday that shows a strong correlation between a voter's level of religious observance and which presidential candidate — Mitt Romney or President Barack Obama — that voter plans on voting for come November.

"Mitt Romney leads Barack Obama by 17 percentage points, 54 percent to 37 percent, among very religious voters in Gallup's latest five-day presidential election tracking average," Frank Newport summarized for Gallup.
