'We Are Utah' shines spotlight on quirky Utah

There's no two ways about it, Utah and Utahns are kind of quirky.

How else does one explain the penchant for green Jell-O, the bumper crop of Utahns cast on reality television programs in recent years or the plethora of urban legends about the Beehive State such as whether Utahns are the worst drivers in the country.

"We Are Utah," KSL TV's locally produced program takes a fresh look at unique qualities of Utahns and the Beehive State. It premieres at 9 p.m. tonight.

"We're not apologizing for it," co-host Brooke Walker said of the quirkiness of the state and its people. "We're just running with it."
