40 Years of Church Magazines

This year, the Friend, New Era, and Ensign each celebrate 40 years of publication. Before the magazines were the Friend, New Era, and Ensign, there was the Young Woman’s Journal (first published in 1890), the Improvement Era (1898), the Juvenile Instructor (1901), the Children’s Friend (1902), and the Relief Society Magazine (1915).
