Must-See Temple Updates Since Last Conference: Rome, Paris, Cedar City

Since last general conference, the Church dedicated two new temples, theSapporo Japan Templeand the Philadelphia Pennsylvania Temple, and rededicated the Freiberg Germany Temple.

With open houses either beginning or concluding for the Fort Collins Colorado Temple, the Star Valley Wyoming Temple, and the Hartford Connecticut Templeit's exciting to see what other temples are taking shape.

Here are five other temples, from Paris to Utah to Rome, that are still in the works and are anticipated to be dedicated in 2017 and early 2018, though many more have been announced. Currently, the Church has14 temples undergoing construction, 11 temples announced, and three undergoing renovation.

Paris France Temple

With the stain glass windows currently being installed, the Paris France Temple is nearing its final construction stages. See how the landscaping of the temple is already starting to take place. The Paris France Temple dedication has not been announced but is estimated to happen in mid-2017.

Cedar City Utah Temple

With the sign for the Cedar City Utah Temple installed, the windows and doors still need to be put in place, but the building is beginning to look like a familiar temple. The Cedar City Utah Temple dedication has not been announced but is estimated to happen in late 2017.

Tucson Arizona Temple

After the scaffolding was removed from the dome of the Tucson Arizona Temple, an angel Moroni statue was placed atop the dome on July 7 while observers sang "The Spirit of God." Currently, construction workers are working on the interior of the temple. The Tucson Arizona Temple dedication has not been announced but is estimated to happen in late 2017.

Meridian Idaho Temple

On July 20, an angel Moroni statue was placed atop the Meridian Idaho Temple as the exterior construction wraps up for this temple. Notice the parking lots and landscaping that are starting to be put into place. The Meridian Idaho Temple dedication has not been announced but is estimated to happen in late 2017.

Rome Italy Temple

With scaffolding still up, the interior work on the Rome Italy Temple is still underway as the temple continues to take shape. Some materials need to be replaced and some rework still needs to be done before windows and doors can be installed. The Rome Italy Temple dedication has not been announced but is estimated to happen in early 2018.
