BYU Dance Group Bridges Cultures, Builds Connections in China

Although the very definition of contemporary dance in China and the U.S. are different, the shared love for the arts brought BYU dancers to a unique opportunity in China.

BYU’s Contemporary Dance Theatre recently returned from a trip to China where they performed as invited guests in a prestigious showing of the top unicersity talent in the country. BYU was the only group from outside of China to perform.

It’s the latest in a series of outreach efforts from the BYU College of Fine Arts and Communications, and specifically its performing groups, to build friendships and connections around the world.
