Former BYU quarterback Jake Heaps is taking his talents to Lawrence, Kan. Heaps announced Thursday that he is transferring to the University of Kansas.
Heaps, who took a recruiting trip to Lawrence last weekend, will play for new Jayhawk coach Charlie Weis.
