Be nice, fill the jars with warm fuzzies

Deseret Book customers and friends of LDS Church President Thomas S. Monson are being asked to do good deeds during the next few months and fill the giant glass jars in the 37 stores with colorful, warm fuzzies.

Inspired by the success last year when President Monson asked people to serve others as their birthday gifts to him, Deseret Book managers decided to see how many soft pompoms they could collect between the release date of President Monson's biography, "To The Rescue," and the end of the year.

Customers are invited to jot down a description of what service or act of kindness they've performed and pick up a warm fuzzy to drop into the jar.
