Carpools, public transit urged for conference visitors

Visitors to LDS General Conference are encouraged to carpool or use public transportation because parking is limited in the downtown area. The Utah Transit Authority is offering extra, more frequent TRAX trains before and after conference sessions. Riders are encouraged to buy a round-trip ticket to reduce waits at ticket dispensers on their return trip.

Also, a UTA group pass is available that allows up to four people to ride round trip for $13.50 on TRAX and buses, compared to the standard fare of $2.25 per person for a one-way ticket.
