Church Activity Sends Youth to Graves

Following the theme “Embark in the Service of God,” young men and young women from the Lake Havasu City Arizona Stake gathered in the Palo Verde Cemetery in Blythe, California, for a youth conference service project documenting graves on Feb. 28. Around 100 youth and leaders took to the pathways of the cemetery with smartphones in hand, taking pictures of each grave.

“We started out by downloading the billiongraves.com app on our phone,” said Brooke Lundin of the Acoma Ward. “We would take pictures of the tombstones and make sure you could read the names on it.” Each youth took as many pictures of graves and tombstones as they could.
