Donny Osmond speaks out against a graphic music video

70s teen idol Donny Osmond can’t keep up with Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” technology. The 52-year-old singer says the 23-year-old eccentric chart-topper should have given a little more thought to the effect of her latest single’s music video on her audience.

The half of the “Donny & Marie” duo was active during the record industry censorship debates in the late ‘80s, taking a stand against censoring explicit lyric package labeling and supporting recording artists.

And although he had been an outspoken opponent of censorship then, he finds Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” very offensive. The music video, which also stars Beyonce, has been getting mixed reviews from critics for its graphic violence and sex depiction.
