After Garrett Bolles was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the first-round of the NFL draft, he received a special surprise—a video of the couple he now calls his parents as they shared the faith they have in him and in the Lord.
Bolles, who had been given up on and left homeless in ninth grade, worked hard to get to the place he is now, receiving help from the Lord and the LDS couple who took him. "I love how when people ask you about your success, you tell them about the Lord," Emily Freeman says in the video. "How He's no respecter of people or race or color. How He gives people a second chance and a third chance and as many chances as it takes to get things right. He met you there on the curb that day with all your belongings and nowhere to go, but He didn't intend to leave you there."
