Fire investigators to enter Provo Tabernacle after Christmas

Fire investigators are expected to enter the remains of the Provo LDS Tabernacle on Monday, Fire Chief D. Blair Camp said Tuesday.

Camp said efforts to shore up weak spots in the walls and begin sifting through a 9-foot high pile of debris have been hampered by bad weather. But he said investigators are still working hard to find out what touched off Friday’s blaze.

"Our investigators have been working 10 to 12 hours a day on this, not at the scene but behind the scenes," Camp said.
