First Presidency Calls New President for the Calgary Alberta Temple

The First Presidency has called Howard P. Heninger, 70, as the new president of the Calgary Alberta Temple. President Heninger and his wife, Sharlene Brooks Heninger, are from the Rockyview Ward, Calgary Alberta West Stake. President Heninger will be succeeding President Ellis G. Stonehocker as temple president and Sister Heninger will serve as temple matron, succeeding Sister Glenda Stonehocker. 

President Heninger was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, to Donald Woodroe. He is a former counselor in a stake presidency, bishop, high councilor, volunteer assistant temple recorder, and senior missionary. He also serves as the first counselor in the Calgary Alberta Temple and is a retired president of  Nortech Holdings, Inc.

Sister Heninger was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, to Ray Hal and Ila Bowen Brooks. She served with her husband as a senior missionary and was a former family history consultant and public affairs missionary.
