Former Cougar Austin Collie has surgery, sidelined

The injuries for the Indianapolis Colts continue to pile up as former BYU Cougar Austin Collie is sidelined for the next few weeks.

Collie missed practice on Wednesday with an undisclosed injury not involving his foot, which was causing him problems the past few weeks. On Thursday, the Colts announced that Collie underwent surgery on one of his thumbs.

This comes on the heels of the announcement of Pro Bowl tight end Dallas Clark out indefinitely with a hand/wrist injury.

It is still uncertain when Collie will return, with all reports indicating that Collie will be out a few weeks.
