A special forum featuring former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will be held Thursday, Jan. 13, at 11:05 a.m. in BYU'S Marriott Center. Her address will be followed by a brief question-and-answer session. The forum is co-sponsored by BYU's Wheatley Institution and David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies.

Her address, "Remarks by Condoleezza Rice," will provide a sweeping look at global affairs presently as well as during her tenure as Secretary of State and National Security Adviser to President George W. Bush.

Through her perspective, she will illuminate the interrelationship of global events and leaders, and also share details about her commitment to America's education system, specifically her interest in expanding nationally nonprofit after-school programs, and the importance of art and music in the school curriculum.
