How many billionaires know how to sew? We’re not sure but you can definitely add Gail Miller to the list. As the Board Chair of Intermountain Healthcare’s Board of Trustees, Utah Jazz Owner Gail Miller recently did a video making people aware of ProjectProtect, a volunteer effort initiated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in conjunction with Intermountain Healthcare as well as several other organizations in Utah. ProjectProtect seeks to sew masks for frontline medical professionals aiding in the fight against COVID-19.

Miller says when she heard of the effort, she thought, “That’s something I can do.” Through ProjectProtect she has been able to facilitate about 2,000 masks.

“It’s such an enlightening project for me,” Miller says. “And I’m just really pleased to be a part of it. It’s exciting for me to have a little bit of hand in helping heathcare because I’m in that critical age where I don’t want to go outside. I want to be very careful so this gives me an opportunity to do service and feel useful.”
