The life, heritage and birthday of Ezra Taft Benson were celebrated Saturday with an all-day gathering that drew hundreds of people.
Benson, who served as an apostle for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has descendants that number in the thousands, more than 500 of whom met in Logan for a family reunion.
"He left a great heritage," said Serge H. Benson, who is a great-great-grandson of the apostle.
