James Taylor, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and One Impressive Evening

Last weekend, my wife, Amy, and I made the trip to Salt Lake City to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Utah Symphony team up with music icon James Taylor for a concert in the LDS Conference Center.

First, I must say thank you to our hosts, Tom and Patsy Lamb and the LDS Southern Utah Public Affairs folks. My wife and I had a great time spent with good friends enjoying some great music. The event was the 30th Anniversary Tanner Gift of Music concert series. This annual event is funded by an endowed trust created by O. C. Tanner and his wife, Grace.

I thought I’d share some of my thoughts about my trip and the concert.
