LDS "American Idol" Contestant Creates Stunning Mashup of "Be Still My Soul" & "His Eye Is on the Sparrow"

Not only has LDS American Idol contestant Amber Lynn Stoppel been sharing her talents with people on live TV across the nation; she's also been sharing her testimony through song and word. Recently, she created this stunning mashup of "Be Still My Soul" and "His Eye Is on the Sparrow" with the help of Joslyn Poole on vocals and Rashida Call on piano and posted it to her Facebook page with this sweet message:

If I can take a moment to be real, this little American Idol adventure has been a crazy roller coaster ride for me. And it's only just begun. It has been so amazing to see the excitement from friends and family strangers. But it's also been stressful to handle social media, and internet trolls, and worrying about how many people find me super annoying nowadays. But the most important thing I've learned through all of this is that my Father in Heaven has a plan for me. Whether that plan is to win American Idol, or to keep music as a hobby and run for president instead I don't know. But I find peace in remembering that I have a purpose here on earth. I don't care where my music takes me, as long as I always love my music.
I'd love if you all shared and commented.

Well if y'all aren't sick of me yet, you can check out this new video I made for ya. Special thanks to Joslyn Poole...
