Elder Paul V. Johnson, commissioner of the Church Educational System, announced significant changes to LDS Business College (LDSBC) at a devotional this morning.
The changes include:
- • A name change. Effective September 1, LDS Business College will now be called Ensign College.
- • A limited number of bachelor applied science degrees. It is anticipated that three new degrees in business management, communications, and information technology will be offered beginning fall semester 2021.
- • An expansion of its unique job-ready curriculum online, through a close collaboration with BYU-Pathway Worldwide.
LDSBC currently has more than 2,200 students from all 50 states and 60 countries.
