Tax season is no one's favorite time of the year, but the Church has provided new online resources to make this year's process a little simpler.

Beginning last year, Church members could access and print official tax statements directly from lds.org.

As lds.org notes, this document "is a tax-valid statement that you can use when preparing your tax return. Statements can also be generated for past years to replace those that may have been printed out but later lost."

To print a tax statement, you will need to:

1. Go tolds.organd click on the "My Account and Ward" option at the top right of your screen. Then select "Donations" from the menu.

2. Select "Donor Statements" from the menu on the lefthand side of the page.

From here, you can view tax statements the Church has already pre-generated for Church members, or you can generate your own.

To generate your own tax statement, you will need to:

1. Click on "Official Tax Statement" near the top of the screen. From there, you can select which country you want to generate the statement for as well as which year.

2. Click "Generate Statement" and print the list for your own records.

From the "Donor Statements" page, you also have an option to generate "Statements of Contributions," which allow you to set custom date ranges. Check out lds.org for other cool features regarding online donations.
