Hartford Connecticut Temple Groundbreaking Ceremony

The Hartford Connecticut Stake Presidency has announced to local congregants that the groundbreaking ceremony for the Hartford Connecticut Temple will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. All are invited to participate in the historic event via satellite broadcast to local chapels. Due to limited parking, attendance at the temple site is by invitation only.
Aug. 16, 8:00 p.m., The Cathedral of the Madeleine, Salt Lake City, Utah
The program will feature Tabernacle organists Richard Elliott, Clay Christiansen, Andrew Unsworth, Bonnie Goodliffe and Linda Margetts. The concert is free; no tickets are required, and the public seating is on a first come, first served basis. The doors will open at 7 pm (music begins at 8:00).

Recent converts to the Church will share their testimonies. The featured speakers, Elder and Sister Petramalo, have served in numerous callings including missions to London, India, Singapore, Indonesia, Tanzania, and other locations. Elder Pretramalo also served as mission president in Ghana, West Africa.
