LDS authors win awards at Great Southwest Book Festival

Several books published by Deseret Book, including its Shadow Mountain and Ensign Peak imprints, received awards at the recent Great Southwest Book Festival, including three that took top honors in their categories.

Brandon Mull’s “Candy Shop War: The Arcade Catastrophe” took the top spot in the Children’s Book category. Also in the Children’s Book Category, Tyler Whitesides’ “Janitors: Secrets of New Forest Academy” received an honorable mention.
