Marco Rubio and the all-Mormon ticket

If Mitt Romney does eventually capture the Republican nomination, he’ll probably need to pick a running mate who can be for him what Sarah Palin was for John McCain: someone who can both balance out the ticket and excite conservatives. The list of people who potentially fit that bill is fairly short, but Florida Senator Marco Rubio has to be on it. Or at least, he had to be on it, until Thursday, when a story published on BuzzFeed suggested that Rubio might not actually balance Romney out so well, at least when it came to religion.
