Marriage in due time

I recently was called as the Sunday School teacher for my singles ward. I suppose the bishop felt it important for me to impart my wisdom before the great and dreadful day of my return to the family ward -- my time is limited. (And, in the words of Yoda: "When 31 years of age you reach, happy you will not be to return to the family ward spouseless.")

The topic of yesterday's lesson was found within the book of Genesis. (So, in case there be any question: Yes, Mormons do read the Bible.)

The specific stories we discussed focused on eternal marriage, a topic preached at length over the pulpit in a singles congregation. Being asked to teach this lesson, for me, felt much like the blind leading the blind.
