Children in Mombasa, Kenya, suffering from the HIV virus are receiving help from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The children are being fed ATMIT, a nutritional porridge developed at Brigham Young University and donated by the Church as a way to help those who are malnourished. Local Latter-day Saints and missionaries toured the Mikindani Catholic Church Youth Training Centre in Mombasa and visited with the children. Approximately 650 local children are assisted at the center.
