Mormons and Seattle-area Food Banks Unite in 'Yes We Can' Project

Yes We Can, a community canning project in the Seattle area, has found a creative solution to feed the hungry.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saintshas opened up its local cannery — normally used for private welfare needs — to help with the project. To date, Yes We Can has produced 500,000 canned goods that will help 35,000 people in South King County.
