NFL football: Former BYU star John Beck traded from Ravens to Redskins

The Baltimore Ravens traded former BYU quarterback John Beck to the Washington Redskins on Monday.

In exchange for Beck, the Ravens received cornerback Doug Batch.

Beck, who's in his fourth NFL season, will be joining his third team. He was picked in the second round of the 2007 draft by the Miami Dolphins and started four games as a rookie. Beck, who didn't play in 2008 with the Dolphins, was signed by Baltimore in 2009. He did not play in a game for the Ravens.
