New Site Promotes LDS Photo Message Sharing

Between the hours of 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. two men are busily working on a website service called Sweep the Earth.

The name of the project is taken from Elder David A. Bednar’s talk at the October 2014 General Conference for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As one of the quorum of the 12 apostles, he quoted Moses chapter seven, verses 59-62 and then told the audience what to do.

“Beginning at this place on this day, I exhort you to sweep the earth with messages filled with righteousness and truth — messages that are authentic, edifying, and praiseworthy — and literally to sweep the earth as with a flood,” Bednar said.

That is just what Tiafau Purcell and Colton Malone want to do.
