Provo Tabernacle archaeological work almost done

With work winding down on the archaeological examination of the original Provo Tabernacle foundation, officials of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are beginning to prepare to break ground for the new temple that will be built on the site.

According to LDS Church spokesman Scott Trotter, the archaeological team from Brigham Young University that has been excavating and documenting the foundation will complete its work on Saturday, March 31 — the opening day of the church's 182nd Annual General Conference.
