Reader Voices: Yoked together in love?

Which came first — the chicken or the egg? I say it's the vegetables. When making an omelet you add the chopped vegetables to the beaten egg mixture before pouring it over a heated skillet. Cover and cook until veggies are just tender, sprinkle cheese, then fold it over and serve. Walla! My husband would disagree. After all, our first marital fight was over the proper way to cook an omelet. We'd been married a week, living happily in a spider-infested basement apartment. Trying to impress my new hubby, I arose early Saturday morning to make him one of his favorite dishes. Just as I was pouring the chopped veggies into the egg mixture, a backseat chef spoke up.
