Reclaiming our Inner Pionner is a series to explore how we can harness our mormony talents for industriousness and working the land and such.

Pioneers didn’t take a week to go to Disneyland, their lives depended too much on their work to leave it. Even as recently as my great grandparents, summer vacations were rare. They saved their vacations for winter time when the work on the ranch slowed down and they could hitch up the sleigh and ride across the valley to visit family.
