Seminary Superman

Editor's note: With the upcoming 100-year celebration of the LDS Church's seminary program, Mormon Times is sharing experiences and blessings from those who participated in the program.

When my dad, "Brother" Lynn Humphreys, was a new seminary teacher in the 1970s, he easily resembled Clark Kent. He occasionally wore thick-rimmed black glasses, parted his dark hair down the side and had plenty of handsome good looks; not to mention he always wore a suit to work.
